This is a safety function to protect the engine on overheat by restricting the engine to 4000 revs. So if you find your bike won't rev - check your warning lights.

Possibility causes of LIMP home mode :-

• Engine temperature is more than 120˚ C

• ECT (Engine coolant Temperature) sensor failure

• MAP (Manifold air pressure) sensor has failed or in fault condition

• Radiator fan failure
